Optimal Gardens are gardens that are created and maintained optimally. Both from a functionality and design point of view, as well as considering the results sought: Quality health-sustaining foods produced organically and sustainably.
We will show you here how to get the closest possible to the optimal in design, functionality and results.
The information and data brought to you here would of course apply to any type of gardens. But, as we see it, there is only one type of garden that is truly of any importance, which consequently is the one we are focusing on here: What was once called a "potager". That is, an Organic and Sustainable Garden dedicated to the production of fresh food, mainly for one's own kitchen (a similar garden maintained for market purposes was called a "jardin maraîcher" or "Market Garden").

Of course, creating a garden, whether you do it optimally or just haphazardly, is always going to call for some work, particularly in the beginning (unless you farm that work out, or just buy a "Ready-Made Garden"). But afterwards, if everything was done optimally in the beginning, a small garden could be almost maintenance free...
